Outdoor waterplay facility

Exciting new outdoor waterplay area at Aquarena is now open

Open throughout the year, the new Outdoor Waterplay Facility at Aquarena is an exciting new aquatic feature at the centre.

Located at the rear of the main building, outdoors, between the indoor 25 metre and outdoor 50 metre pools, the outdoor waterplay area includes a range of new and exciting water features for young children and families to enjoy.

New water elements include tipping buckets, towering spray columns, soaking run throughs and several rotating water cannons for squirting family and friends.

The entire "Splash Pad" surface is covered in a soft rubberised floor coating making the whole waterplay area a fun, safe, non-slip aquatic play-zone for all weather conditions.

The waterplay facility and spray elements can simply be started by a press of the button on the control pad. That will begin a nine minute total spray cycle with different elements in action for three different three minute time periods.

Children of all ages will love the fun and excitement of our new waterplay area and it's the perfect complement to our other wide range of aquatic facilities on offer, including heated pools, waterslides, dive pools and more.
