Safeguarding children and young people

For safety reasons it is necessary to sign your child in/out upon each visit. Government regulations state that you must collect your child/children prior to physically signing them out. A person collecting your child other than yourself must be previously registered on your enrolment form. Where the pick up person is not registered formally in writing by the child's parent or guardian, the child cannot be released.

Aquarena recognises that all children and young people have the right to develop and reach their potential in environments that are caring, nurturing and safe. We have a number of policies and practices to maximise the safety of children and young people in our care.
