Lifefitness circuit series

10 New Lifefitness circuit series strength stations have arrived!

To ensure that we can better meet the needs of our increasingly older new members and ageing community, 10 new user friendly Lifefitness strength stations have just arrived.This specialized series of circuit stations from the world leaders in commercial health club equipement Lifefitness, have been exclusively designed to meet the unique needs of older adults, seniors and those just starting out.

The entire series of circuit stations is designed to be very user friendly and easy to use with equipment easy to enter and exit, simple to use with minimal adjustments, fast pull and push button selectable workloads and resistance levels which start very low and can be increased gradually in very small increments.

 

   
The new circuit strength training series includes:
     
 LF 001

       

1. LifeFitness Ab Crunch

Muscles exercised: Abdominals

Operation: Stabilize the body in position, pressing feet firmly into the footplates. With a controlled motion, draw back the arms as far as can be controlled. Return handles to start position without letting the resistance rest.

2. LifeFitness Biceps Curl 

Muscles exercised: Biceps

Operation: With a controlled motion, curl the handles up to full flexion. Return the handles to the start position without letting the resistance rest.

3. LifeFitness Chest Press

Muscles exercised: Pec Major, Anterior Deltiod and Triceps

Operation: With a controlled motion, extend the handles out to full extension. Return the handles to the start position without letting the resistance rest.

4. LifeFitness Seated Leg Curl

Muscles exercised:  Hamstrings

Operation: Hold the thigh pad handles and pull back slightly to hold legs in place. Curl the pad down and back slowly. Slowly let the pad out and repeat the motion.

5. Lifefitness Lat Pulldown

Muscles exercised:  Latissimus Dorsi and Biceps

Operation: With a controlled motion, draw down the handles directly over the shoulders until hands reach shoulder height, then extend the handles up until arms are fully extended. Return the handles to the start position and repeat without letting the resistance rest.

6. Lifefitness Leg Extension

Muscles exercised: Quadriceps

Operation: Rotate the thighs so the knees are pointing upwards and with a controlled motion, extend the legs to near full extension. Return the legs to the start position, without letting the resistance rest.

7. Lifefitness Squat

Muscles exercised: Quadriceps, Hamstrings, Gluteus 

Operation: Bend at the knees while keeping head and upper body stable and upright. Squat down until the top of the thigh is parallel with the ground. Stand up pushing through the heels and extending the knees and hips.

8. Lifefitness Triceps Press

Muscles exercised: Triceps

Operation: With back on the pad and elbows close to your sides, slowly press the handles down. Do not lock elbows at the bottom of the pressing motion. Slowly return handles to start position and repeat motion.

9. Lifefitness Shoulder Press

Muscles exercised: Deltoids and Triceps

Operation: With a controlled motion, extend the handles up to full extension. Return the handles to the start position without letting the resistance rest.

Muscles exercised: Latissimus Dorsi, trapezius, Rhomboids and Teres Major

Operation: Stabilize the body in position, pressing feet firmly into footplates. With a controlled motion, draw back the arms as far as can be controlled. Return the handles to the start position without letting the resistance rest.
